Outlook 2007 + Hotmail

It looks like Microsoft has finally made their Microsoft Office Outlook Connector available to everyone. And it's free!

Thus far, it seems really good- superior to the built-in hotmail/webmail support. You can see (but not sync!) your hotmail calendar, and your hotmail contacts show up as a new contacts thingy. What makes it worth the install, however, is that it background-downloads all emails, lets you categorize emails, and in general performs way better.

It really makes a difference when things perform well. It's the little psychological victories that make all the difference. Just like Joel says.

The new administration, as per Microsoft, guarantees a more secure, all the more intense, and gainful email involvement, with adaptable access by means of the Web, on a cell phone, or with an email customer.
